What profile do you look for in a franchisee?
We seek individuals who are passionate about hospitality, committed to their community, and capable of leading teams. Previous experience in restaurants is helpful but not required.
Do I need prior experience in restaurants or business?
It’s not required, but it’s highly valued. We’re looking for committed individuals with an entrepreneurial mindset, leadership skills, and a passion for customer service.
Does TJB offer territorial exclusivity?
Yes. As a franchisee, you receive a protected area where no other Tropical Juice Bar units will open without your participation.
Does TJB help me choose a location?
Yes. Our team works with you to identify viable markets and assist you in evaluating and selecting the best possible site.
What kind of support do franchisees receive?
Our franchisees receive full training, operational assistance, marketing support, store design consulting, equipment selection, and ongoing guidance from the moment the agreement is signed through opening day and beyond.
Can I open more than one location?
Yes. Many of our current franchisees are developing multiple units. We’ll work with you to outline a scalable growth plan.
What marketing support do I receive for my store?
We provide branded marketing materials, digital strategy, local campaign support, and communication guidelines to maintain brand consistency.
What are the startup costs, and what do they include?
The estimated initial investment ranges from $191,100* to $395,500* and includes the $30,000* (subject to change, please refer to the FDD) franchise fee. The remainder covers store buildout, third-party professional fees, insurance, and working capital for the first 3 months.
How big is a typical Tropical Juice Bar location?
Between 800 and 1,200 square feet, with adequate parking and street visibility. We evaluate each site with you to ensure it meets brand criteria.
How long does it take to open a location?
It depends on how quickly a lease is secured. Once signed, the store can typically open within 3 to 6 months with our full support throughout the process.
Do I have to operate the restaurant myself?
While owner involvement is encouraged, you may hire a general manager to oversee daily operations while you focus on managing and expanding the business.
How many employees work in a typical store?
Typically between 6 and 12 employees, depending on the restaurant’s size and customer demand.
How much can a franchise location earn per year?
We can share financial performance information (Item 19 of the FDD) during your evaluation process to help you project potential revenue.
